One day he had free time, Nietzsche said "Without music, life would be a mistake." (well, he actually said "Ohne Musik wäre das Leben ein Irrtum". Anyway.) Even if this thought seems to be the result of a rare moment (surely not everything Nietzsche said or wrote is that clear), let's admit he was quite right.
As far as I'm concerned, I would tend to think I place myself on the right side... since I got into music when I still was a kid. Now to avoid long, boring, narcissic descriptions that nobody reads, I'll try and summarize my background in a few lines:
Personnal lessons with Colette PELLEGRINI
Conservatoire Massenet (National music school), Saint-Etienne
Music and studies section at INSA Lyon
Workshops and masterclasses, University of Oxford
So far, so good... what else?
- I still play. You will know more here.
- I compose (oh, it reminds me of a joke about Beethoven... but whatever). There's a list here, some mp3, videos and scores
- From time to time I happen to conduct. More here.
- I listen to music a lot, but I won't tell much about this here.
And not to forget: for those of you that spend their time on social networks, I have a mage on Facebook and on LastFM. Feel free to click and like...
